Hey everyone...
Just a quick note, no rambling I promise!! My oncologist and radiologist did some finagling and I went for a MRI as well as an ultrasound guided biopsy yesterday. The MRI showed only the one tumor, PRAISE GOD!! We should have the pathology results on Monday.
A lot of you have asked for specifics, unfortunately we know only that it is cancer. The original biopsy isn't as clear as the oncologist would like. I can tell you that I feel completely normal, not sick at all. I am sore where they did the biopsy, especially because the area around the tumor was already bruised from the first biopsy, but other than that I "feel" healthy. We'll hopefully be able to give you more details Monday.
We've escaped to my parents for the weekend, so I won't be checking/responding to emails until we get back. Forgive me if it takes a while to respond; I'm trying to be sensitive to spending time with the kids and making sure their lives are as "normal" as possible.
