Hey everyone...

Just a quick note to let you know the latest. I went in for treatment on Friday and found out that the heart scan which I had had on Tuesday showed that there has been some damage done to my heart. I've been having heart scans every 3 months and this is the first time it has dropped below the baseline they got during my first scan. What does this all mean?? Well, we'll know more once we meet with the cardiologist... but it does mean that I will not be getting treatment for at least the next 3 or 4 weeks. My oncologist said my heart muscle should repair itself, but if it doesn't I am done with treatment.

We're feeling a little mixed about all of this. On one hand we're excited to have some time off. On the other, we weren't expecting it so we were caught a little off guard. Regardless of how we feel, we know it's just part of this journey God has put us on. And, we would be naive to think that pumping my body full of toxic chemicals for 6 months would be without side effects.
