Well God's timing is best... although sometimes I wish He followed my timetable a little more closely, although I am sure I would mess everything up in less than a day!
I went today for chemo. When they did the CBC on my blood draw they found my white blood cell count was still pretty low. It was a little more than 2 points below the lowest point of the normal range, which is pretty significant. Because chemo knocks your immunity even lower, it wasn't safe to do it today. It was pretty disappointing, especially since this is the last of this cycle. But, after I got over my initial shock I was reminded and remembered that God is in control and for some reason He wanted me to wait one more week. Because of that I am able to be at peace with the delay. So we sent my poor mom home till next week.
Thank you for those of you who prayed for us today. We needed it, more emotionally than physically. Please pray that I take the rest I know I should and ask for help when I know I need to... and for Tim's stress with work. He has been amazing throughout this whole process and has been there every step of the way. But between the emotional stress at home and the stress of supporting a family, he's under a lot of pressure. We'd appreciate prayer that two of the deals he has going close quickly so he can take a little time off.
Thanks again for praying... next Friday the 11th, we'll try again!
