Thank you all for your prayers today, I was feeling anxious before today but woke up pretty calm and at peace. I kept busy all morning and didn't worry too much about it. Even during the echocardiogram as I was watching my heart beat on the screen, (very cool by the way!!!), I was able to pray and keep that peace. God is so good!!!
One thing we've learned these past 9 months is that medical issues mean waiting, waiting and more waiting. We unfortunately won't know the results for a while. The cardiologist takes the echo, the 24-hour monitor and the treadmill test all into account. That means we won't know the specifics until mid-April, (the treadmill test is on April 12th).
The cool thing is that I hadn't said one word to the ultrasonographer about being concerned about the function of my heart, (the heart scan I had a couple weeks agon that caused all of this recent drama indicated that my heart function had dropped dramatically). During the test her words were, "You have great heart function, if you were wondering." Uh, yeah, you could say I was wondering!! Pretty cool that God answered that issue without me having to voice it!
We'll keep you updated. The two issues the cardiogist will be looking at are my heart function as well as an extra/irregular heartbeat he picked up during his exam last week, (we also saw it during the echo today). By the way, I apparently wasn't clear about the extra heartbeat... I am not pregnant; the extra heartbeat is mine... that would indeed be a miracle!!
Thanks for praying!! Love to you all...
resting in Him, Linnea
